What it looks like in everyday work
Annual safety briefing, hazardous substances, PPE, forklifts, first aid, fire safety, new employees: who needs which briefing when is hard to keep in your head in a growing company – and signature lists in binders are hard to find in an audit.
The training matrix shows for every person and topic whether the briefing is current, due or overdue. Briefings are confirmed digitally, records are in the right place, and AMS Go reminds you before anything is due.
How it works in AMS Go
- 1
Define topics and target groups
Create briefing topics with a cycle and assign them to areas, roles or people – for example “hazardous substances, yearly, everyone in the paint shop”.
- 2
Brief – on site or digitally
Deliver the briefing in person, with a presentation or as a digital briefing with comprehension questions. Participants confirm in the app.
- 3
Keep the matrix in view
The matrix shows person by person what is current, due or overdue. New employees appear automatically with all mandatory topics.
- 4
Have records ready
Every record with date, content, instructor and confirmation is available per person – for insurers, authorities and audits within seconds.
At least once a year – and documented
Employees must be briefed before starting work, when conditions change and at least once a year. Hazardous substances require a briefing based on the operating instruction, young workers a six-month cycle. Documentation is mandatory – the format is not.
Frequently asked questions
Is a digital confirmation legally sufficient?
Yes. Documentation is required, not a signature on paper. The confirmation in the app with user account, date and content is traceable and proves participation.
Can I upload my own training content?
Yes – presentations, PDFs, videos and your own comprehension questions. Templates exist for typical topics and can be adapted.
What about employees without a smartphone or email?
Briefings can be delivered and confirmed at a terminal or tablet in the hall. Alternatively the instructor documents participation and uploads the signature list.
Does the matrix detect new employees automatically?
Yes, as soon as they are created or synchronised via single sign-on. They receive the mandatory topics of their role and area with the due date “before starting work”.
