OHS committee minutes – document committee meetings easily

What it looks like in everyday work

Companies with more than 20 employees in Germany must hold a safety committee meeting at least quarterly – producing minutes whose resolutions are often forgotten by the next meeting.

With AMS Go you prepare the meeting with current key figures, take minutes along a template and turn every resolution into an action with owner and deadline. At the next meeting you see at a glance what has been done.

How it works in AMS Go

  1. 1

    Prepare the meeting

Agenda from the template, invite participants, key figures of the quarter included automatically: incidents, inspections, open actions, due tests and briefings.

  2. 2

    Take minutes

During the meeting you record discussion, results and resolutions per agenda item – on laptop or tablet.

  3. 3

    Resolutions become actions

Every resolution becomes an action in the action plan with one click, with owner and deadline. Participants receive the minutes as PDF.

  4. 4

    Follow up and archive

The next meeting starts with the status of the last resolutions. All minutes are archived – for authorities, insurers and audits.

Duty and legal basis

Mandatory above 20 employees in Germany

Under the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG), employers with more than 20 employees must form a safety committee that meets at least quarterly. Members are the employer, works council, company doctor, safety specialist and safety officers. Minutes are not explicitly required but are regularly requested in audits.

Frequently asked questions

Which key figures does AMS Go provide for the meeting?

Incidents and near misses, inspections carried out and open findings, status of actions, due and overdue tests, state of briefings – per site and quarter, directly in the minutes.

Can the works council read the minutes?

Yes. Committee members receive the minutes as PDF or access to the archive – depending on the permissions you assign.

Is there an agenda template?

Yes, with the usual items: previous minutes, incidents, inspections, risk assessment, briefings, health surveillance, actions, miscellaneous. You adapt the template.

Can the module be used for other committees?

Yes, for example safety talks with managers, contractor coordination or site meetings. The structure with resolutions as actions is the same.
