Start-up BW Pre-Seed: AMS Go receives funding approval
After pitching to the decision committee on May 6, AMS Go is one of the new candidates in the Start-up BW Pre-Seed founder program – with Hoepfner Hi-Tech as co-investor.
On May 6, 2026, we presented our business model and our software solution for digital occupational safety to the central decision committee of Start-up BW Pre-Seed. Pitch day on site was a special moment for us: after months of intensive product development and our first customer projects, we stood in front of the committee together as a team – and were selected.
With L-Bank's official press release of June 11, 2026, AMS Go is now one of the five new candidates who can formally apply for a financing commitment under the program in the next step. For us, this is more than funding: it is a vote of confidence in our vision of making occupational safety for small and mid-sized companies digital, simple and AI-powered.
What is Start-up BW Pre-Seed?
Start-up BW Pre-Seed is the central early-stage funding program of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs and L-Bank. It supports innovative start-ups at a very early stage – exactly when financial headroom and strategic support can make the difference.
The program combines public funding with private capital: as a rule, the state provides up to €160,000, which a co-investor matches with the same amount. In individual cases, this can be doubled to a total of up to €640,000. The aim is to make promising start-ups ready for institutional investors and to enable long-term growth.

A key element of Start-up BW Pre-Seed is the participation of a co-investor who not only supports the start-up financially but also accompanies it as a mentoring partner. For AMS Go, this is Hoepfner HI-TECH Beteiligungs GmbH – the strategy consultancy and investment company of Hoepfner Bräu, with many years of experience in supporting high-tech start-ups.
Hoepfner Hi-Tech brings deep expertise in business angel investing: the team has supported almost 100 start-ups as entrepreneurs and is active as an accredited business angel at BAND. Dr. Friedrich Hoepfner was named Business Angel of the Year by the Business Angels Network Germany (BAND) in 2010. Beyond the financing, the partnership gives us access to experience, a network and strategic advice in a decisive growth phase.
What we are advancing with the funding
AMS Go develops software solutions for digitizing occupational safety in manufacturing, logistics and administration. Companies already use our platform productively – from risk assessments and inspection reports to operating instructions and hazardous substances management.

Next steps
Next, we will formally submit our documents to L-Bank, which administers the program on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and makes the final decision on the financing commitment after its review.
