The calculation is deliberately simple and transparent. It estimates the effort based on typical occupational safety processes – a guide, not a guarantee.

The calculator assumes 0.8 hours of occupational safety effort per employee and 12 hours per safety specialist each month – weighted with an industry factor from 1.0 (office) to 1.8 (chemicals and pharma).
